Flor Del Espíritu Santo

Es una orquídea, su nombre científico es Periferia Elata. Se caracteriza por tener pétalos de un color marfil intenso, adornados en el centro de su libelo con una bien definida y delicada paloma que florece en los meses de julio a octubre.

Primero que todo veamos como observamos esta planta en su medio natural.  Por lo general se encuentra cerca de los ríos y riachuelos, bastante humedad relativa y en el suelo.  Puede observarse encima de las piedras o bien entre la hierba, escondiendo los pseudobulbos para protegerlos del sol.  Los lugares de brisa leve y constante son de su preferencia.  Puede verse tanto en lugares bastante oscuros como lugares de mucha claridad o luz filtrada.

Opinión:  La Flor del Espíritu Santo es húmeda.

First of all let's see how we see this plant in the wild. It is usually located near rivers and streams, enough moisture and soil relative. It can be seen over the rocks or the grass, hiding pseudobulbs against the sun. The sites are slow and steady breeze of your choice. You can see both pretty dark places as places of great clarity or filtered light.

Opinion: The Flower of the Holy Spirit is wet.
